The School of Continuing Education hosts Dining Etiquette Training

The School of Continuing Education at the T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) recently hosted a Dining Etiquette Teaching Day at the Hospitality Hall, facilitated by Mrs. Masha Phillip-Noel. The session, coordinated by Mrs. Caundi Joseph-Gay, teacher of Social Skills, focused on the principles of formal dining and professional behavior.

A total of 71 students from General Office Administration 1 and 2, Computer Systems Networking, Cosmetology, and Fashion Design participated. Students learned proper table setting, utensil placement, dining posture, and the importance of professional presentation in social settings.

The activity forms part of the Social Skills course and will culminate in December with a Lunch, where students will demonstrate formal etiquette, dining, and social skills techniques learned during this session.

“This experience provides students with practical knowledge they can carry into professional and social environments,” said Mrs. Joseph-Gay.
